The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Department held a ribbon cutting ceremony and grand opening for the recently completed New Fleet Facility on February 11, 2026. 

The new Guardhouse facility at Chennault International Airport was recently completed and is now operational. This facility adds another layer of security to this important entrance to Industrial Row. This project proves that necessary buildings are not always large in scale.
