The 9,000 SF Farid Bogani Technology Center is designed to be the front-door to the Cameron LNG Plant, located in Calcasieu and Cameron Parishes. Visitors of the facility will be able to learn about the natural gas liquification process, how Cameron LNG is providing an economic foundation to both the region and the globe, and how they can seek employment for the plant. With a large exhibition hall, the 3-story facility includes ancillary offices, restrooms, a kitchen, and a state-of-the-art conference room overlooking the 1.5-mile long plant. On the top floor is an observation deck providing visitors a panoramic view of the plant. With large blast-resistant glazing and a raised concrete foundation, the building is built to withstand not only a natural disaster, but a blast from within the plant, making it one of the most secured buildings in the area.

The lodge-style aesthetics was chosen to both counter the industrial setting surrounding the building and to feel welcoming for international visitors who seek to play a role in Cameron LNG. The exterior stone-like facade is carried inside, accompanied by hand-crafted wood details, sleek and modern flooring, and state-of-the art lighting and mechanical systems.

The interpretive displays were designed by Split-Rock Studios.
