This project included the design and complete rehabilitation of an existing 9,568 square foot building that houses the Mayor’s Office, Public Works, City Engineer, Finance and other city departments for the City of Sulphur, Louisiana. This is an example of an adaptive reuse rehabilitation project in which an out-dated, former Commercial office building was stripped down to the skeletal structure and foundation and completely rebuilt as a cornerstone project to revitalize Sulphur's historical downtown area.

We see this project as a prime example of the compromise between historic preservation and complete demolition. The building features steel and masonry construction with pre-cast stone accents. Please take a moment to review the photo gallery below for before and after pictures including a digital design study that we produced for this project.
